CFEVS’s Technology Coach Mrs. Molly Klodor was named as a semifinalist for the AI Educator Award by MagicSchool AI in March 2024.
Klodor is the CFEVS Technology Integration Coach, serving all students and staff in the district. Working on a team with Technology and Innovation Director Mike Daugherty, Klodor collaborates to teach AI across the district.
“She was selected as a semifinalist because of all the really amazing things that she has done with AI this year,” Daughtery said. “She’s awesome,” he continued.
Daugherty and Klodor work collaboratively to match AI programs with school projects.
“We meet and we go through just to make sure that we’re on the same page, and that we feel like we’re doing the best we can do for [students] and as well as staff,” Daugherty said.
Klodor also has taught students how to ethically use AI. 7th-Grader Max Beatty has worked with Klodor on various school projects.
“She has been a huge help with teaching us how to research properly,” He said. “Like citing sources.”
Magic School AI named CFEVS’s Technology Coach Molly Klodor a semifinalist in their Global AI educator recognition, and she attributes her success to the teachers around her. Klodor is proud that teachers have embraced the use of AI this year the way they have.
Klodor graduated from Ohio University and Kent State. She has a Bachelor’s in Integrated Language Arts Education from OU and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from KSU.
One of Klodor’s hobbies includes reading. She said that it has helped her understand the world better by learning different backgrounds and views.
