Mackenzie Reid, Photographer/Writer
Mackenzie is an 8th-grade student at Chagrin Falls Middle school. She enjoys reading, writing poetry, and photography. Mackenzie loves to write every thought she is thinking down somewhere. Outside of journalism, Mackenzie loves to ski, skimboard, travel, sketch, bake, sail, and play lacrosse. She loves to be outdoors and spend time with herself also. Mackenzie likes to pay attention to the little things in life, a smile from a stranger, your food tasting especially good, laughs with friends, or just a drive with the wind in her hair. Mackenzie's favorite class is art because she loves to draw, paint, and express herself in something other than words. When she grows up, she's not sure what she wants to do yet but she knows she wants to travel the world and see all the beautiful places life has to offer. Mackenzie also takes a lot of photos to capture moments and wants to couple those photos with captivating stories.
