The Eighth-grade girls basketball team “Pies” their head coach, Mr. Kimball, with homemade whipped cream launchers. This is in part with an annual fundraiser letting large donors throw pie at their favorite teachers.
Eighth grader George Stewart throws a pie at his coach, Mr. Thombs, while Mr. Thombs purposely scoots his chair forward to ensure he isn’t hit. In the end, he was hit straight in the face as everyone screamed with cheers. (Grace Sushko)
Seventh grader Gio Cottone ran up and smashed the pie into Algebra teacher Mr. Brown’s face. A fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where students can pay money to pie their teachers.
Audrey Bricker is a writer and videographer for the Tiger Tales Newspaper. Her hobbies include playing on the Chagrin soccer team, playing piano, and reading books. She enjoys writing articles and editing videos, and won The Writer of the Year Award for seventh grade English language arts. Audrey has written for the Tiger Tales in the past, and has been a student at Chagrin Falls Schools for nine years. Her favorite subjects are ELA and Spanish, as well as science. Audrey lives in Moreland Hills, Ohio and is once again looking forward to reporting about CFMS.
Charles Stewart is a photographer for the CFMS newspaper. Charles has been going to Chagrin Falls since preschool. He is currently in 8th grade. He enjoys traveling, photography, and hanging out with friends. He also enjoys math and science. In addition Charles plays football, lacrosse and he wrestles. In the future he wants to be a doctor.
Molly Quigg is in 7th grade at CFMS. She enjoys gymnastics, swimming, cross country, skiing, and playing flute. Her favorite school subjects are math and ELA. She has 2 younger siblings, Patrick and Libby.
Grace Sushko is an 8th grader at Chagrin falls middle school. She likes to take photos and write for the middle school newspaper. Outside of school she likes to play volleyball, run and travel. In school she likes Spanish, Science and Math.Grace lives in Chagrin falls Oh with her four siblings and her mom and dad. In the future She would like to become a pediatrician or a heart surgeon.
George is an 8th grade student at CFMS. This is his second year in newspaper. George Stewart is an athletic person who likes to play sports and watch other students at CFMS play sports. George has been attending Chagrin Falls school since pre-school. George likes to travel, take pictures and videos, wrestling, and football. George has a twin brother and an older sister. George has two dogs (an old English bulldog and a pug). George wishes to stay in Ohio when he is older.
Lauren McKenna is 13 years old and has attempted to do every hobby known to man. She enjoys baking, dance, running,
painting and legit so much more. But one of her favorites is photography. Lauren loves taking photos of everything under the sun. Lauren plays cross country, cheerleading ,and track! Her favorite class is art exploration! When Lauren grows up, she wants to be an artist or marine biologist.
Lucas Guddy is a smart, charismatic, and humble athlete who loves hanging out with friends, math, and science. He has always been interested in photography and journalism. He has previously been in the newspaper club and student council. When he grows up he hopes to graduate with an engineering major and proceed to be some sort of pilot or engineer. He loves solving Rubik’s cubes, baking, and biking. He has 3 sisters, one at Ohio State, one at University of Virginia, and one in high school.
