Vibrant Maracas!
Eighth-grader Lily Pawar paints a Maraca for her Spanish project. The class is creating authentic Mexican designs and printing or painting them onto objects utilizing the creation lab and their creativity. They will simulate a Mexican Mercado selling their products speaking only in Spanish. “I am using the color yellow because it is bright, and it helps really show that Mexican culture is lively,” she said as she painted a sunset.
